great location , but some minor inconveniences
The central location made it easy to explore the area, with many cultural sites within walking distance. The staff were attentive, providing us with great recommendations for local dining. We appreciated the beautiful garden view from our room.
Some noise from the street could be heard at night.

The staff were professional and attentive and knew how to help. Loved the guest room, it was pleasantly decorated the time we came in. The breakfast was enjoyable and would have been better if bacon or poached eggs offered.

Fantastic spot in an adorable old section with spacious, comfy rooms. I reminded me of royalty waking up to the lively courtyard.
But good luck getting some milk for coffee! Apparently, it's cheaper to just go out for a pint of cow juice.

Well located in quiet but attractive square. Nice, well furnished hotel.
We had a lovely room overlooking the square, our friends were not so lucky, their room was dark and overlooked the air conditioning unit.

The breakfast offered a good variety, although some items could have been better. The location in the Jewish Quarter enhances the experience.

The Hotel Ester is a charming little hotel with a lot of character and in a great location. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful and our overall experience of staying was very positive and I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Krakow.
We were given one of the attic rooms on the 4th floor which I have to say were a little small and uncomfortable, very well maintained but just a bit too cramped. The rooms on the lower floors looked much bigger and if booking this hotel again I would make a point of requesting one of these.

Perfect Location and Charming Atmosphere
I loved the charming decor with traditional artwork and beautiful period touches that added to the overall atmosphere. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. The breakfast offered a delicious selection of options, and I particularly enjoyed their freshly made omelets. One thing to note is that some seating areas could be more accessible, especially during peak times.

Excellent situation, good service, but the hotel is definitely not worth for four stars. Three stars is absolutely enough for this hotel. The quality of the breakfast was poor. The coffee and juices were tasteless. It seemed that they do not wash the frying pans, as the eggs were black underneath - and upside. Regardless our order bacon was available first on the fourth morning. The room was rather small. There was a satellite channel, but only one (sky news). The bathroom had been modernized, but there was not enough space for the necessaries of two persons. Only one small shelf, size 80 x 20cm. No glasses in the bathroom for tooth brushes. After request we received two plastic ones, which were far too light for keeping toothbrushes in. So we went to the bar in the neighborhood and bought two solid drinking glasses and placed them on the bathroom self. But the cleaning staff took them away!

We had a lovely room with a tub big enough for two! But the best part was, the hotel allows pets, so my beloved Scottish Terrier could travel with us. It is not far from the main square, and the area is a lovely historical setting. The service is good. We were there over the Chirstmas holidays and they called around to find us a restaurant. Very helpful.
